a few things

- we finally got internet! oh, how i've missed blogging.

- i'm done teaching for the summer!

- i just found out that i got a permanent teaching position beginning in the fall. hallelujah!

- our house is slowly but surely coming together. photos to come as soon as we finish.

fresh summer salad

i don't think i have ever posted food or a recipe on here

but this summer salad is far too delicious not to share.

all you need is:
fresh baby spinach
a granny smith apple, cut into thin slices
a few strawberries, cut into small pieces
feta cheese
almonds
and marzetti white balsamic dressing

it is so easy
and so good.

time to vent

don't be expecting a lot of blog posts this week

because classes are kicking my butt.

i have so many projects

and papers

and presentations

and i don't have a place to live yet this summer

or a roommate

and all i can do is worry about, well, everything

sorry to be a debbie downer : (

i'm just a wee bit overwhelmed

oh and happy st. patrick's day

....i hate the color green

ready for some sunshine

with this cold and dreadful weather

all i can think about is summer

and sun dresses

and beaches

i have had the same swimsuit for a few years now

so i think it's about time i purchased a new one

and i am loving these high-waisted bikinis

and this one-piece looks so comfortable

farewell summer

only two more weeks left of summer!

bennett and i are driving down to auburn for his brothers graduation on monday

and then spending the week with his family in tampa.

i do love road trips so much

but he has a few doctors appointments while we're down in florida

so i'm more nervous than i am excited.

and by the time i get back, my roommate will be home!

she's been in london for the past month and i've missed her dearly.

i guess i should start cleaning the apartment...

this is my favorite song. ever.

i will walk down the aisle to it at my wedding.

i had my last final today! it was art history... and a lot harder than i expected (yikes). however, i am done and there's no sense in worrying about it now!
