christmas date night part 2

last night

bennett took me to franklin to eat at one of my favorite restaurants

and then we drove around the little town and looked at christmas lights

it was probably one of my top 5 favorite date nights

because bennett is my favorite

and christmas is my favorite

and downtown franklin is my favorite

life is good

my wonderful friend stephanie came over

and she took a bunch of photos for one of her classes.

she is an incredible photographer and a beautiful person

a few things that are making me very happy right now...

- writing things in my moleskin planner

- listening to a charlie brown christmas by vince guaraldi trio

- the chocolate santa that is waiting in my backpack

- only having 2 days of classes left

- gingerbread cookies from trader joes

baby, it's cold outside

it's december

and classes are almost over

and i have eggnog in my fridge

and bennett planned a wonderful christmas date for friday

(i just can't wait)

and christmas is the most wonderful thing in the whole world

...besides bennett

and my dad is taking me on a walgreens date tomorrow

to buy garland

and chocolate marshmallow santas

and candy canes

oh, how i love this time of year!

so close

it's crunch time

there's a week and a half of classes left

before finals

which includes a debate

2 papers

and a LOT of art projects

and i still have so many christmas movies to watch

and so much peppermint bark to make...

...oh it's that time of year again : )

and so much to be thankful for

...i could just keep on going

today was a wonderful fall day

the weather was beautiful

so bennett and i went to the park

to eat lunch

and read one of my favorite christmas short stories

(which i think everyone should read)

and we are now sitting in a warm coffee shop

drinking hot christmas beverages

doing greek homework (benn)

and blogging/dilly dallying (me)

and tonight i get to decorate our christmas tree with my roommate

and then go see bennett play a house show.

p.s. i watched cold mountain with bennett last night

and it is a phenomenal movie.

if you haven't seen it, you should probably go rent it this weekend.

can you believe it?

thanksgiving is a week from today!

and that means that christmas is so close

and christmas is my favorite

because the music makes me almost cry

and everything looks so much more beautiful under christmas lights

and egg nog is just so wonderful

and christmas parties are the only parties i like

and i get to sleep under the decorated tree...
