and the beginnings of a baby bump.

the first trimester was rough.

really rough.

i've been so so sick since week 8

and lost 10 pounds

yet somehow already have a baby bump.

we heard the heartbeat on friday.

so fast and strong.

it was the most wonderful and beautiful moment of my life.

i just laid there and cried.

i've never felt so much happiness or relief.

i am so in love with this baby.

a tiny little heartbeat growing in my belly

we are over the moon

and could not be more excited.

hurry up january!!!

4th of july

i plan on baking some cupcakes

eating too many hotdogs

and then setting something on fire.

and i am so happy i could cry.

i haven't seen her since march(!)

and we have a bunch of fun activities planned

like shopping (duh)

a few things

- we finally got internet! oh, how i've missed blogging.

- i'm done teaching for the summer!

- i just found out that i got a permanent teaching position beginning in the fall. hallelujah!

- our house is slowly but surely coming together. photos to come as soon as we finish.

today is a much needed beach day.

it's overcast and perfect.

tonight we're going to go see a movie 

and then probably stay up way too late watching awful television shows.

because this is what you do when you're married to your best friend

and you live a short drive away from the beach.
