3 months

i cannot believe
that 3 months have gone by
since i met marlowe for the first time
and a whole year has gone by
since she started growing in my belly.

these past 3 months have been the most beautiful
most painful
most frustrating
most exciting months of my life
and i wouldn't trade them for anything.

she's the greatest joy i've ever known.

marlowe's first easter

easter was our first holiday with marlowe.
we woke up early and opened her easter basket,
which she obviously couldn't have cared less about,
but was still exciting for us.

we kept it simple.
a small toy and a book,
a few eggs filled with coins for her little bank,
and of course some candy for mama and papa : )

after a morning spent with bennett's family,
we came home and stayed in bed for the rest of the day
watching tv on my computer
and then taking an accidental really long nap.
it was absolutely perfect.

every day with marlowe is sweeter than the day before.
i keep trying to blog more
but honestly
i'm just so happy soaking up every moment with my baby girl
who is growing up way too fast.
