birthday!

last week i turned 23!

since we went on my surprise birthday trip

we didn't do much on my actual birthday.

we spent the night before 

out on the dock drinking wine

staring at the moon 

and watched the stingrays swim under us.

we went back inside 

and when it turned midnight 

bennett sang to me

and danced around the room

which resulted in me laughing hysterically on the couch

and maybe crying a little 

(see third photo down)

the next morning i woke up late and opened presents from my family in bed.

it was overcast and a little chilly

but we took a walk 

ran some errands

ate dinner at whole foods

got drinks with bennett's parents

and then went back to our apartment

and ate the tiniest cake you ever did see.

 i must say it was a pretty good birthday.

i can't wait to see what 23 has in store...
