let the school year begin

things have been a little nuts lately.

i had preplanning at school all last week

and the kiddos start tomorrow

so i have been running around like a crazy person

trying to get not just one classroom

but TWO classrooms put together.

(i am split between 2 schools during the week)

i'm ready for things to settle down again.

i have a little too much on my plate

and all i want to do is daydream about this little baby growing inside me.

by the way

we find out this friday if it's a boy or a girl!

i am so excited.

we are having a gender reveal party on saturday 

with all of bennett's family

and my mom is flying down for the weekend.

whew.

thanks to the stress of life

and the fact that we don't have internet at the house yet

i have had 0 opportunities to blog.

our house has fleas.

it's really disgusting

and they won't go away.

i really need a summer job.

i only have a few weeks left of teaching.

it's hot as h-e-double hockey sticks here in florida.

i am sweating 100% of the time.

but you know what?

overwhelmed

i have a midterm tomorrow

and a photo assignment due

and i need to clean my room

and pick a caterer

and book one of the hotels for our honeymoon

and finish our honeymoon registry

and take my car in to be serviced

and go to the bank

and find out where the groomsmen can rent suits

and do our marriage counseling homework

and ten million other things

i hardly have time to breathe...

going going going

i am in the middle of moving

and unpacking

and writing papers

and creating lesson plans

and nannying

and planning my wedding

so i barely have 2 seconds to breathe

let alone blog

whew

i hope everyone has a good week

and i'll post again maybe in a year or so

just kidding

...maybe

long time, no post

a million apologies for the lack of posts!

my life has been crazy busy.

as soon as i came back from nantucket i jumped right into my two summer classes

which are every morning from 7:30 to 11:15

(have you ever TRIED waking up that early in the summer!?!?)

then i go straight to my nannying job until about 6

then i go home and eat dinner with bennett

and then i spend the rest of my night doing homework

ughhhhhhhhh

BUT

some good things have happened

like:

bennett is getting better

and guess what?

he doesn't have headaches anymore

none. nada. zip.

and i am moving into an adorable house with my girls on august 1st!

we have a back yard : )

and only 10 more months until i am married

and in 3 weeks, right before fall classes start,

i am going to harry potter world with bennett

i can't even begin to tell you how excited i am about that!

so, life is good

time to vent

don't be expecting a lot of blog posts this week

because classes are kicking my butt.

i have so many projects

and papers

and presentations

and i don't have a place to live yet this summer

or a roommate

and all i can do is worry about, well, everything

sorry to be a debbie downer : (

i'm just a wee bit overwhelmed

oh and happy st. patrick's day

....i hate the color green

yuck. school.

i am super overwhelmed right now.

i feel like my assignments are out to get me all of a sudden.

i just want it to be christmas

so i can lay under my decorated tree

covered in christmas lights

and listen to the charlie brown christmas album.

life doesn't get much better than that.
