snow day!

this is what i woke up to this morning.

i went to the grocery yesterday and there were no carts. or baskets.

because when there is a chance of snow in nashville

everyone freaks out and buys out the grocery.

so today i plan on staying in my pj's

and watching as much instant netflix as i possibly can.

it snowed here in nashville a couple days ago

and we're apparently supposed to have an ice storm tomorrow

so i have a feeling i will be cuddled up in bed

watching movies and trying to recover from a stomach bug

for the next few days...

which is just fine with me

snow, snow, go away

i woke up this morning to find it snowing again

which made it very difficult to drag myself out of bed

and now i'm regretting my decision to wake up

because hardly anyone is in my classes

so we're not even really doing anything productive

and i could still be warm in my bed

if i had just followed my first instinct to stay in

i am tired of living in a snow globe

...hurry up spring!

a boring post

this weekend consisted of

- an upper respiratory infection

- the most snow i've seen since the 8th grade

- the first season of dexter

- so much snuggling

- penne noodles covered in butter

- lots of coughing and nose blowing

oh how i hate the cold and being sick

but oh how i love laying in bed watching dexter with my fiance

i woke up this morning

and looked out my window

to find snow.

everywhere.

so i ran over to bennett's apartment

still in my pajamas

where we spent the rest of the day snuggling

and watching my new favorite show dexter

i am so glad it's the weekend
