so close...

spring break is in one week

and i can hardly wait.

this week i have so many tests and projects due

so i am in desperate need of a vacation

i am going to charleston with my dear stephanie

and we are going to go to the flea market

and the beach

and take SO many pictures

the only down side to this wonderful spring break?

i will miss bennett SO much

i don't even want to think about it...

i took this polaroid at the end of my freshman year of college. bennett is on the left and my roommate meagan is on the right. a bunch us had gone to my house that morning to eat pancakes that my mom made and then we went to the park afterwards to hang out. i had the biggest crush on bennett at this point. the best part is that he asked me out on our first date that night. he asked me as we were walking on campus, on our way to watch star wars. i was so excited that i couldn't stop smiling the whole night. that was almost 2 years ago, and look at us now! we're getting married!

bennett stopped by the art building today

to give me a hug and a kiss

right before his 2 o'clock class

and we were standing in the lobby

and i started freaking out

because i remembered how much i love him

and that he is going to be my husband

and i just got so excited.

i like it when that happens.

when i freak out and remember how huge our love is.

snow, snow, go away

i woke up this morning to find it snowing again

which made it very difficult to drag myself out of bed

and now i'm regretting my decision to wake up

because hardly anyone is in my classes

so we're not even really doing anything productive

and i could still be warm in my bed

if i had just followed my first instinct to stay in

i am tired of living in a snow globe

...hurry up spring!

valentine's day

we celebrated valentine's day last night

thinking we would be clever by doing it the night before

but we were soooo wrong

because cheesecake factory had a 3 hour wait

and the movie we wanted to see was sold out

so instead we dressed up

and went to one of our favorite pizza places

for pizza and drinks

and then we rented new york, i love you

and ate chocolate covered clementines

and drank wine

and it was perfect.

next year we're staying in and ordering a pizza for valentine's day...

some things...

1. i just bought a huge box of clementines and i can't stop eating them. they're my new favorite thing.

2. yoga+project runway+drinks=tomorrow and i can't wait

3. karlie is coming to see me on friday!

4. i am addicted to solitaire. i have to play until i win in order to fall asleep at night

5. i am really starting to love my photo class. below are a couple of examples from my first project!

i realize that i have been a terrible blogger

and i apologize

but it's just that i have been so boring lately

and i haven't felt inspired at all

a boring post

this weekend consisted of

- an upper respiratory infection

- the most snow i've seen since the 8th grade

- the first season of dexter

- so much snuggling

- penne noodles covered in butter

- lots of coughing and nose blowing

oh how i hate the cold and being sick

but oh how i love laying in bed watching dexter with my fiance
